“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Mistakenly Handcuffed By Feds…

Apollo Nida, husband of  “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks was caught in a case of mistaken identity. Apparently Federal agents pulled him over and were reading him his rights before they realized they had the wrong guy?!

The following was reported by TMZ.com:

A rep for the US Marshals tells TMZ, Apollo Nida — husband of “Housewife” Phaedra Parks — was stopped and detained outside Atlanta Thursday afternoon.

According to sources, the Georgia task force responsible for the mistake pulled Apollo over thinking he was a key player in a current investigation — but quickly released him when they realized he wasn’t the person they thought he was.

The US Marshals wouldn’t comment on the open investigation — but we’re told Apollo bears a “striking resemblance” to whoever they’re trying to track down.

Attempts to reach Apollo were unsuccessful.

‘The Wood’ Star De’Aundre Bonds Emotional Release From Prison *Video*

After serving 10 long years for manslaughter, Actor De’Aundre Bonds is finally released from prison.  You may remember him from movies  “The Wood,” “Get on the Bus,” and “Sunset Park”.

In 2001, Bonds was convicted of killing his aunt’s boyfriend, and charged with manslaughter. He was released from  Chuckawalla Valley State Prison on March 29. His mother was there to pick him up, and she was very emotional to say the least… But who wouldn’t be?

Bonds stated to TMZ.com that it was hard in prison, and he’s very eager to get his career and life back on track: “I am trying to get like Jamie Foxx, get that Oscar. Next up, you will hear De’aundre will get that Oscar.”

Gucci Mane Arrested for Pushing a Woman out of a Moving Car… Oh Lawd!

Apparently rapper Gucci Mane is back in trouble again! He was arrested in Atlanta this morning for pushing a woman out of a moving car.

Gucci Mane, who’s real name Brodrick Davis, was doing a routine check with his probation officer, when the  PO noticed Davis had an active warrant for pushing a woman out of a car in January. He was arrested, and charged with misdemeanor battery.

This is not a good look for Gucci. He is still on probation for a 2005 aggravated assault conviction. This could also result in a probation violation for him. Right now he is being held with a $5,000 bond, until he sees a judge tomorrow…

*New Video* Somaya Reece ft. XO – Would You Still Love Me

If you’ve missed all the drama on the new VH1 show “Love & Hip-Hop” you better catch up! Up-and-Coming rapper Somaya Reece has released her first single entitled “Would You Still Love Me”. Initially, she asked rapper Jim Jones to feature on the track with her. Her dreams of a Dipset feature were quickly cut short when Co-Star Crissy (Jim’s Girlfriend) came into the situation.  On the show Crissy seemed less than eager for her BF to mix & mingle with Reece. Crissy maintained that she didn’t feel threatened by Reece, she claimed that Jimmy being showcased on her track would be a “step back” in his career. She also went on to say Reece’s rap skills were weak, and she should only “rap at Christmas time.” WOW! Chrissy definitely knows how to cut deep…

The finished version of the song features her ex-boyfriend XO, a California rapper. He made an appearance on the last episode of the show. He actually did pretty good. As far as the song, it’s cool but the production is clearly lacking. However, it’s not a bad start… Hopefully it gets better from here….

Snoop from “The Wire” Released From Jail!

Felicia Pearson, better known as Snoop from the HBO hit series The Wire, was released from jail in Baltimore on a $50, 000 bond after her lawyers made a deal with prosecutors in her drug conspiracy case.

The following was reported by EOnline.com:

Following a hearing today in Baltimore Circuit Court, the 30-year-old Pearson agreed to wear an electronic ankle bracelet that will monitor her movements. In return, she’s been granted permission to travel out of state for jobs, such as the one that’s taking her to Philadelphia for a movie role.

“One of the reasons she wanted out was to do a film so the monitoring will still cover that area,” a spokesman for the Office of the State Attorney for Baltimore City told E! News, confirming her release.

“We had a lot of discussions, but mostly it was just about legitimizing that, if she gets out, she’ll be working and she’s not a flight risk,” her attorney, Benjamin Sutley, told the Baltimore Sun.

Pearson was one of 64 people rolled up in a drug raid and charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin as part of a drug ring plaguing East Baltimore, according to an indictment agasint the thesp.

And like The Wire, the case was said to involve wiretaps, which led to Pearson’s arrest and now pending arraignment set for May 5.

Superstar Miami Heat forward LeBron James is remaining tight-lipped in regards to his mother’s arrest after she was taken into custody for striking a valet attendant yesterday morning. Without discussing the incident, LeBron had few words for Miami television station WSVN:

“It’s very sensitive, because it’s your mother, of course… you guys want to ask me anything else about basketball, I’m happy to answer it[…]You have to move forward. It is my life, and it is certain things you have to deal with, but like I said, I try not to let it be a distraction. I have a job that I have to do still, at the end of the day.[…]Sometimes things happen in life. You take care of it and move on.”

On the day of the incident, Miami officer Sgt. Wayne Jones to the same television station that Gloria was intoxicated at the time of the altercation, and added:

“I’m pretty certain though Ms. James is probably a very lovely lady when she’s sober, this morning she was not so much.”

The valet attendant, Sorel Rockfeller, had only been employed at the Fontainebleu for two weeks when the incident occurred. He says that he’s never been slapped before and was taken aback with Gloria got physical.

“When I was slapped, I was shocked. I’ve been doing valet for like two weeks, and this is the first time I’ve met somebody like that.”
